You will get much better results when you properly prep. It all starts with a good canvas! The procedure area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure. 

• Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure
• Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face/skin
• Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to treatment
• Do not work out the day of the procedure.
• Do not have botox 3 weeks prior
• Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)
• Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure.

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:

• Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
• Do not consume coffee or any caffeine before your procedure
• Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)

First 7 Days 

DO NOT get your brows wet for the first 7 days. If they accidentally get them wet, just pat the area dry.

Day 3

Begin applying a THIN layer of ointment on the 3rd day. Use a clean Q-Tip or applicator provided by artist.

Keep the area CLEAN 

DO NOT exercise for a least 7 days, if needed, light working out with minimal sweat is okay (consult artist). DO NOT apply makeup to tattooed area until told otherwise. DO NOT pick on the scabs, let them fall out naturally. They will itch, DO NOT scratch them.

Day 1

Results immediately after the procedure. Expect this shade to fade 20-40%.

It is so important to wash the area daily and avoid activities that will cause stress to the area such as friction, long hot showers, facedown swimming, and suntanning. I advise using a moisturizing ointment 2-3 times daily on the skin to aid with hydration and to keep the area from feeling dry, itchy, or tight. If after care products are repeatedly applied to the area without daily cleansing, suffocation can occur. This causes a nasty buildup of old products and bacteria. 

Day 2

Brows will be a little tender. Brows may still be red, quite tender and maybe even a little thicker in texture than the day before. 

Day 3-4

Pain and tenderness subside. The brows will get slightly darker and thicker, nothing drastic. 

Day 5

The itch that CAN’T be scratched. Your brows will be itchy and it is NOT advised to scratch them, the wound is still open. Scabbing may form and the hair strokes that were created may be hidden. Scabbing is normal. 

Day 6-7

Scabs begin to peel away. Do not pick or peel the scabs, this could affect the healing process negatively. Pigment could be lost and will leave you with a patchy eyebrow. By following proper after care, the scabs will fall off naturally. 

Day 8-10

Unusual lightness. At this point the scabs will likely be completely flaked off, however, the skin has not completely mended itself back together. The color may seem light or even grey and patchy. This is normal. At this point you can use a powder makeup to fill in for the time being. 

Day 14-21 

Getting there. At this point the color and definition of the hair strokes will return and the color will no longer look grayish and will begin to even out. 

Day 30

All healed! By day 30 the healing process is complete. The skin should be completely healed revealing beautiful color retention. They should look much softer than the first week. At this point, you will be able to tell if there is anything you want to change or add. The first touch-up is scheduled 4 weeks after initial appointment and yearly touch-ups is sufficient for most!

Eyelash extensions is a semi-permanent eyelash enhancing treatment. Semi-permanent because you lose 3-5 natural lashes a day. With eyelash extensions, one extension/fan is applied to one natural lash. When your natural lash is ready to shed, if there is an extension applied to it, the both of them will shed out together. In turn, a new lash will grow from the root and a new extension will be applied during a fill, which is recommended for every two weeks.

The application process is very relaxing, you may even fall asleep. An eye pad will be placed under your eye to separate the lids. Your eyes will then remain closed for the duration of the service. Upon completion of the service, a product I like to call the curator, is applied to the lash line that reinforces the bond of the glue. The pads are then removed and you may open your eyes to reveal your new lashes! If you are scheduled for a full set appointment, you will be booked for 2 hours. Arriving 15 minutes before/on time is critical. It allows us to hold a short consultation to discuss style and the look you want to achieve. Lash fills can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on how long you have waited between fills.

• Do not get the lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours. The glue needs proper time to bond to the lashes.
• Avoid ALL oil based products on or around the eyes. It will break down the glue.
• Clean the lashes properly, daily.
• Do not pull on the lashes
• Do not rub your eyes
• If you sleep on your face, try investing in silk pillowcases and lash safe sleep mask.
• Try to avoid sleeping on your face altogether 
• Do not perm your lashes
• Do not curl your lashes with a mechanical eyelash curler
• Do not wear mascara with your lash extensions!

Results from this treatment can last anywhere from 4-6 weeks. This service is great for individuals that cannot keep up with the maintenance of eyelash extensions or have a super active life-style. The service itself takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour to complete. 

The answer is YES! Although, it is advised to stay away from waterproof mascara and makeup after getting this treatment done.

• Be gentle with your lashes/brows; no rubbing.
• Do not get your lashes/brows wet for 24 hours after the treatment.
• Do not use harsh products on your lashes/brows.
• Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24 hours but may weaken the effect of the lift/lamination.
• No eye makeup for 24 hours.
• Avoid waterproof mascara's.

It is recommended for most people to get a facial once a month, or every three weeks. It is in this time frame that our skin goes through an entire life cycle of skin cell growth, this is called "skin cell turnover". Getting a facial every 3-4 weeks ensures that your skin stays hydrated and keep the perfect glow all month long. A facial works best when it is part of a continuing program of skin care at home.

The key to perfect skin is NOT a quick fix. It takes time and effort to achieve perfectly healthy skin. When I say patience is a virtue, especially when it comes to skincare, I truly mean it. Be kind to your skin, you are going to wear it for the rest of your life.
